Collagen and Probiotics: Can you take together?
Probiotic
proh-bahy-ot-ik
Definition
Live microorganisms that are intended to have health benefits when consumed. Probiotics, by definition, must contain a living organism. Since collagen has no living organisms, it is not considered a probiotic. Probiotic and collagen supplements are safe to take together and most effective when consumed via chilled foods such as smoothies, yogurt, and plain water.
